Marine Products
The company’s marine products include marine gearbox, hydraulic clutch, hydraulic transmission and CPP, FPP, tunnel thruster and azimuthing thruster, which are widely used in fishing, transport, working, special boats, CHINAMFG large-power vessels and etc. The products are approved by CCS, BV, GL, LR, ABS, NK, DNV, RS and KR Classification Societies. The development and manufacturing capability of the company is in the leading position in the country. It drafted 5 national and industrial standards e.g. JB/T9746.1-2011 Technical Condition of Marine Gearbox, GB/T 3003-2011 Medium-speed Marine Diesel Engine Gearbox. Products are complete in model spectrum, power transmission capacity ranging 10kW~10000kW, in which, GW-series large-power marine gearbox and down-angle transmission yacht gearbox are in international leading level.

HCL-series hydraulic clutches apply structure of wet, multiple P/M friction discs, suitable for clutch condition of high speed, load and frequency. GW SERIES
GW series marine gearbox is produced by introducing advanced technology
fr om LOHMANN (Ge rma n y ). It covers 6 series, among which GWC, GWD,
GWS and GWH series are ahead-astern clutch reduction ge a rboxe s, a n d GWL
and GWK clutch are reduction gearboxes.
Structural features:
1. GWC series: Double-step reduction (primary and fina l) and reversal step. Input
and output shafts are homocentric with same rotation direction. GWS model of
double ratio is a derivative of GWC series.
2. GWD series: Single-step reduction (no primary) and reversal step, 1 of the
two clutch shafts functions as a driving shaft ; Input and output shafts are angular
hetero-centric arranged with the rotation direction contrary.
3. GWS series: No primary device, only final and reversal steps; Input and output shafts are vertical hetero-centric
with contrary rotation direction.
4. GWH series: No primary reduction device, only have final and reversal steps; Input and output shafts are horizontal
hetero-centric with contrary rotation direction.
5. GWL series: No function of ahead and astern; Similar to GWC series in construction, but only have primary and
find reduction devices; Input and output shafts are homocentric with same rotation direction.
6. GWK series: No function of ahead and astern; Only single-step reduction device; Input & output shafts are
vertical hetero-centric with contrary rotation direction.

Gear ratio is a fundamental parameter in a gearbox that represents the ratio of the number of teeth between two gears. It determines how much the output gear rotates in relation to the input gear. The formula to calculate gear ratio is:
Gear Ratio (GR) = Number of Teeth on Output Gear / Number of Teeth on Input Gear
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to calculate gear ratio:
- Identify the input and output gears in the gearbox.
- Count the number of teeth on the output gear (the gear connected to the output shaft).
- Count the number of teeth on the input gear (the gear connected to the input shaft).
- Plug the values into the gear ratio formula: GR = Number of Teeth on Output Gear / Number of Teeth on Input Gear.
- Calculate the gear ratio by performing the division.
The gear ratio provides insight into how much the input gear needs to rotate to achieve a certain rotation of the output gear. It influences torque, speed, and direction of rotation in the gearbox.
